Regency Rosewood Book Stand, 19th Century

About the Item

Regency rosewood book stand An early 19th century Regency rosewood double sided table book stand. The top surface is rosewood that is cross banded and decoratively inlaid with mother of pearl and pewter line inlay. The gallery sides and centre divides have turned rosewood spindles and carrying handles. The book stand has a single mahogany lined drawer that has a pair of turned wood knob handles and has a velvet covered lift out board inside. The book stand is raised on four flat bun feet and is in good condition. (Circa 1830) Measures: Height 23.5cm (9.3 inches) Width 38.9cm (15.3 inches) Depth 28cm (11 inches) *The books in the photos are not included.*.
