Victorian Breakfront Bookcase

A beautiful and very impressive antique breakfront bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1880-1900 period. It is of superb quality and has lovely proportions. It is large and impressive, yet elegant with refined features. The doors on the upper and lower sides are quite narrow, there is adjustable shelving in the top cabinet and further shelving in the lower cabinet. There is beautiful carving throughout on the borders of the paneled doors, the cornice, the arched and pierced pediment, even on the beautifully shaped bracket feet.
