18th Century Louis XV Buffet a Deux Corps in Carved Oak from Normandy

About the Item

A lovely French buffet a Deux Corps (in two parts) from Normandy, France. Offers carved embellishments of cornucopias, flowers and foliage on the upper and lower cabinet doors, with carved apron and scroll feet. Original brass hinges, key escutcheon plates and pulls. This piece has a beautiful patina! Note: You should always request a shipping quote.     Refinished. Additions or alterations made to the original: Wall was constructed in the upper cabinet to accommodate a flat screen TV but is removable without compromise or damage to the back of the cabinet. Wear consistent with age and use. Professionally restored and polished with a hard French wax in our workshop.
