Antique French Louis Philippe Style Buffet Ebonized Grey Marble Restored c1800's
About the Item
Antique French Buffet in the style of Louis Philippe (1830-1848) whose influence on French design was the first not imposed by royalty, but rather the wishes of the people. This particular Louis Philippe buffet was restored in our Old Plank workshop and finished in a classic black with just a hint of brass. We are thinking our ebonized Louis Philippe buffet was made in the second half of the 19th century and came from the Toulouse area of France.
**Marble was repaired. Broke down the center, image 6. Back left corner of marble is chipped, image 9. There's also some scratches best seen in images 6 and 8.
