Antique French Antique Buffet with Star and Diamond Motif From Directoire Period
About the Item
Antique Country French Directoire Style Buffet, circa 1740-1780. Our Old Plank inhouse workshop spent over a month (over 200 man hours) rebuilding the cabinet from the bottom up, so all the new owner has to do is enjoy it. All the old filler wax and putty were replaced with real imported French Cherry Wood. The Antique Buffet's exterior was French polished by hand, which gives the cherry a warm rich tone.
