About the Item
A fine Italian 19th-20th century Art Nouveau carved walnut buffet server by Vittorio Valabrega (1861-1952). The finely carved walnut body with twin center doors carved with grape vines, fitted with molded yellow-Craft-glass panels above an apron drawer, flanked by single doors with equal carvings, all with silver plated hardware in the form of scrolled branches with leaves, fitted with a veined Rivera brown marble top. Turin, Italy circa 1900.
Vittorio Valabrega (1861-1952) was an Italian furniture designer and manufacturer. Based in Turin, The Valabrega Brothers Company opened their first shop in 1884 at Via Principe Amedeo 13, creating high quality eclectic and Art Nouveau furniture.
