Mid-Century Transitional Raised Buffet

About the Item

Mid-Century Transitional Raised Buffet is an impressive combination of Renaissance and Neoclassical styling! Hand-crafted from massive planks and timbers of old-growth oak, it stands on two amazingly carved supports below which raise the cabinet up to a very convenient height for access. Mitered corners are adorned with bold acanthus corbels, and appear next to the outboard doors which are defined by arched framework around a distressed mirrored panel. The two center doors close simultaneously via a tongue-and-groove joint, and encompass two leather panels finished in an unusual stone appearance, enhanced by detailed hinge mounts. The outer cabinets open to reveal spacious storage, while the two center doors open to a spacious shelf below four interior drawers. circa mid-1900s Measures 46H x 96W x 22D
