Extraordinary pair of very rare nutwood cabinets from the famous Biedermeier period in Austria around 1830. These unique cabinets impress with a straight timeless shape and unique veneered surface. Both front doors were veneered with finest burr walnut and show an absolute gorgeous mirrored grain. To avoid warping both cabinets have been additionally countermove-veneered on the inside with maple, a sign of high-quality furniture. Slightly cambered, marvelous worked pilasters convince with their exceptional style. A one-of-a-kind pair of compact-sized Biedermeier cabinets that were especially made for the childrens room of a manorial Vienesse villa.
