About the Item
A beautiful late 19th century Louis XVI style gilt bronze and Sèvres style porcelain mounted parquetry cabinet.
A marble top above a single door adorned with Sèvres style porcelain plaques, the large plaque depicting a family outside, surrounded by raised gold designs. The door opens to a single shelf and a false bottom lifting up to reveal a hidden compartment, the base with a central bronze plaque of cherubs at play, standing on legs connected by a stretcher.
