Broyhill Brasilia Model 6140-72/73 Room Divider Base & Deck Walnut Wall Unit

About the Item

The Broyhill Brasilia line is extensive, spanning multiple rooms across more than 30 models. Throughout our multi-decade experience in this industry, we have seen and handled nearly all of them. However, this piece, a first for us, may be the best of all of them. Consisting of models 6140-72 and 6140-73, these units were made in the 1960s in Lenoir, North Carolina. The bottom unit, a low cabinet, features a super distinct exterior, front and back, with two doors that open to reveal three drawers on the left and two large shelves on the right. It sits on a classic Brasilia base with stretchers and sculpted walnut feet. The top, the shelf unit, is really where the Brasilia design language shines. It consists of the Brasilia arches that reach up into the heavens, reminiscent of gothic architecture with a Mid-Century twist. The arches house three shelves in total, making for a lot of easy storage space. It really is an extraordinary set. In good condition. The base of the bottom unit has been refinished, as has its top. The shelving unit is completely original and is in great shape. Drawers and doors work smoothly with all hardware present and intact. You'll love the condition, functionality, and prestige of this piece.
