Cabinet in the Swedish Grace style by an unknown designer, produced by Åby Möbelfabrik, Sweden, 1940s. The cabinet features gently curved doors veneered in teak with a band of burl veneer to the lower section. Raised on elegantly turned legs in stained beech, giving the piece a light and balanced presence. A refined example of Swedish furniture from the transitional period between classicism and early modernism.

    Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor veneer losses on body. The feet show small chips. Interior shelves have ring marks and areas of veneer damage. Drawer shows scratch marks. Door is slightly warped and may be difficult to lock requiring light pressure at the lower edge.
