Chinese Early 20th Century Red Lacquer Three-Section Stackable Cabinet
About the Item
A Chinese red lacquered three-section stackable cabinet from the early 20th century, with polychrome lacquer. Created in China during the early years of the 20th century, this red lacquered cabinet is made of three independent sections stacked together. Each level showcases a pair of double doors adorned with raised panels accented with a polychrome lacquer. The two lower sections feature inner shelves while the upper one comprises of a hidden drawer. Boasting a nicely weathered patina, particularly on the side panels, the cabinet is raised on chow legs connected to one another through an apron carved on three sides. With its clean lines and red lacquer, this Chinese early 20th century cabinet will bring a pop of color to any home, perhaps placed in a bedroom, living room or hallway.
