Early 20th Century Antique Pine Apothecary Store Counter Cabinet Kitchen Island

About the Item

Fun and function abound in this free standing pine kitchen island with 24 drawers. This delightful pine apothecary originally served as a shop counter or storage cabinet. Counters similar to this were used throughout shops in the European countryside during the 1800's, and are a great find today as a way to incorporate old world charm and craftsmanship into a modern home. Since it is free-standing, it would be ideal as a kitchen island (raising it up is simple to do), but also perfect for a quilter, crafter, to use in a bathroom as a large vanity; the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. This pine counter ready to be used as it has been professionally restored, all drawers run smoothly and it has been given a wax finish. Any nicks, scratches, distress and signs of wear are due to generations of use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this pine apothecary. ** In light of current affairs and fluctuating fuel prices shipping quotes and timelines are estimates only. Buyer is required to notify us upon purchase if there are interior or exterior stairs, steps, or freight elevators necessary to complete delivery. Firm shipping costs will be provided upon confirmation of delivery information. **
