French Mid-Century Walnut Two-Door Cabinet

About the Item

This compact mid-century cabinet is constructed in walnut, with a rectangular case set on four tapered legs. The front face is divided into two zones: a pair of upper doors, each fitted with a square recessed pull carved from the same wood, above a run of two side-by-side drawers with matching pulls. The top edges of the case are softly rounded, and a gently bowed apron connects the front legs below. Each door opens on hinges to reveal an adjustable interior shelf, dividing each compartment into two sections. The two drawers open to unlined teak interiors. The back panel is faced in a secondary wood. Light surface wear throughout is consistent with age.
