About the Item

This cabinet is a rare and beautiful example of the Danish Modern style. Standing in a cylindrical/oval shaped pedestal, this cabinet is crafted from rosewood, with beautifully presented natural grains on full display. This particular model is marked "205" on the back, designed by Johannes Sorth and produced by Bornholms Mobelfabrik, Denmark in the 1960's. The cabinet features 5 adjustable interior shelves that are curved along with the rest of the cabinet. The cabinet has a locking keyed mechanism, with the key included for this piece. This cabinet is perfectly ideal for use as a bar cabinet or perhaps for storage of other valuables. The cabinet is in remarkable condition with only some signs of wear visible on the inside.
