Mid-19th Century Chinese Qing Red Lacquer Cabinet with Multiple Carved Doors

About the Item

A Chinese Qing dynasty period red lacquer cabinet from the mid 19th century with drawers and doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty era, this cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a red lacquer finish. The upper section showcases two small doors with raised carved scrolling foliage motif, sitting above a row of three drawers fitted with bail handles on simple rectangular plates. Two pairs of double doors below of decreasing size, adorned with pear-shaped pulls, complete the ensemble. Raised on four straight feet with carved apron in the front and side stretchers, this Qing Dynasty Chinese mid-19th century red lacquer cabinet with multiple carved doors will make for an excellent storage unit in most homes, especially in a den thanks to its various shelves and drawers.
