Oak Pivot Cabinet by Raw Edges for Arco
About the Item
Launched in 2008, the Pivot was designed by Israeli Shay Alkalay (aka Raw Edges) for Dutch brand Arco as a solid wood cabinet built on tall legs and featuring two drawers. Loosely based on the mechanism of traditional sewing boxes and toolboxes, the drawers hinge rather than slide, making it possible to open both drawers at the same time. Perfectly designed for storing small items and everyday necessities in order to make sure these are always in the same place. Plus, with a recessed slot for holding a mirror, it is perfect for apartment living! This piece is oak with a natural matte white finish.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Shows signs of a very well done repair where the left leg connects with the top.
