Rare signed piece of Wiener Werkstatte furniture in beech with Macassar Ebony inlay. The "Wierner Werkstatte of America" insignia dates this to 1919-1922. Ball knobs and simple proto-deco design are in keeping with the motifs employed by Josef Hoffmann.
