Pair Alabaster and Bronze Side Cabinets

About the Item

Our extraordinary pair of side cabinets in the Louis XVI style were supplied by Peter Marino for a prestigious Palm Beach client. Each 39 3/8 by 73 by 21 in (100 by 185.4 by 53.3 cm), with black lacquered surfaces, patinated bronze mounts and alabaster veneered doors, dark marble tops and bronze toupe feet. For similar designs, see the so-called Bronze Boxes series by Peter Marino, including tabletop pieces, cabinets and chests, dating from as early as 2012. Many featured alabaster and other stone veneers as seen in our pair. His Series 1 of Bronze Boxes were exhibited at La Biennale Paris, Gstaad, Switzerland, in 2012. Series 2 were exhibited at La Biennale Paris in 2014.
