This is a pair of vintage bedside nightstands. An Asian, rosewood low side cabinet, dating to the late Art Deco period, circa 1940.
Pleasingly square in proportion and of appealing quality
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality stocks show fine grain interest throughout
Resplendent with deep russet hues beneath the wax polish finish
Generous, square field panel top ideal for a lamp or clock
Central, wide drawer over a pair of cabinet doors
Drawer finished with carved inset pull handle
Cabinet doors with field panel carving and decorated with ornate patera
Doors replete with pierced drop pulls on circular backs
Standing upon shaped bracket feet at each corner
This is an attractive pair of vintage bedside nightstands, with a usefully square proportion and eye-catching hues. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
