Paul Evans, Deep Relief Cabinet, 1970

About the Item

Handcrafted Deep Relief cabinet designed and fabricated by America studio artist Paul Evans in 1970. Polychromed steel doors containing shades of gold, green, and brown highlight the tactility of the vertical structures welded to the front of the two doors. Original slate inlays on top accompany nailed metal surface. Signature and date on the base. Warm, natural patina throughout.
