Terrific traditional leather and wood cabinet or sideboard with studwork and decorative panels, Spain, 1940s.
This handsome cabinet has two drawers over two doors. It is upholstered in brown leather which is decorated with large silvered studs and two medieval style repoussé metal round panels adorning the doors. The leather has a dramatic aged patina.
This finely executed piece has a strong Spanish revival taste and it will be an elegant addition to any classical, Spanish revival or country decoration. It could be an interesting cabinet in a Modern contemporary or minimal ambiance exhibited alone as a piece of art.
Strong and sound and ready to use.
