Stunning Pair of Antique Victorian F Maund & E Berg Display Cabinets with Lights

About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of Antique restored F Maund & E Berg showcases LTD in Victorian mahogany with glass shelves and internal lights A very well made and decorative pair, one is slightly taller than the other, otherwise they are an exact matching pair, ideally suited for retail display, or in home use for amazing collections to be displayed. I’ve had all new toughened glass shelves made for each cabinet as they shelves that came with them were three small shelves for each level, as such I didn’t really think they were safe. The lights have all been fully rewired and tested, the great thing about lights with glass shelves is the light trickles all the way to the bottom One of the cabinets has the original plaque on it which reads as follows:- F Maund & E Berg Showcase LTD, Shopcases and Shop Fitters, 175/9 Old St London EC1 The condition is absolutely fantastic for the type and age, all the glass panels are original water glass and have a fantastic oldy world look and feel, the mahogany frames have been cleaned waxed and polished, they will have normal age and use related patina marks here and there Dimensions external Height:- 215.5cm – 205.5cm Width:- 185.5cm – 185.5cm Depth:- 40cm – 40cm Dimensions internal Height:- 167.5cm Width:- 175.5cm Depth:- 30.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
