UMAMI, (or umame, from jap. ? ?) - one of the five basic tastes recognized by man. The existence of separate taste receptors that respond to glutamate which is the source of umami taste, was coined in 1908 by Kikunae Ikeda and in 2000, the researchers distinguished the taste of umami from the salty taste.
Familia UMAMI is a furniture family inspired by the Japanese culture and its love for simplicity. Just as the umami taste was distinguished from the salty taste, in the case of a family of dressers, the designer has exposed the internal body of the furniture, thereby breaking the generally accepted concept of furniture design. Such exposure refers in its form to the characteristic Japanese built-in walls and their divisions. The internal structural elements have become the decoration of the external form.
PHORMY is a brand founded by an architect Max Kobiela.
Max Kobiela. Designer, founder of PHORMY brand. Architect, graduated from Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning Department at Cracow University Of Technology, works in the field of architecture, interior design as well as design and graphics.
First drafts of furniture were the answer to private needs of the designer.
They were created out of conviction that if there is no suitable form in the market, it has to be designed. Soon after next projects of furniture were created and with time the concept of gathering them all together under one brand name - PHORMY (pol. forms). This is how a family of furniture, based on simple design and precision, was born.
Over the last few years, the Phormy brand products have been recognized and awarded in a few competitions. The awards received: LOWBO, PUFFY, KALEIDO and COMO.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The gallery is the brainchild of two brothers who share a lifetime passion for art, literature and philosophy. Their distinct academic background sets them apart from their peers, as it sees them following a rhizomatic and transcultural approach in the way they select works. This involves combining elements from multiple cultures in what becomes a network of harmoniously interconnected roots, ultimately revealing the beauty of each unique creation. The gallery’s non-hierarchical curation sits apart from the ephemerality of trends and focuses instead on the true aesthetic quality of the piece – alluring and timeless. Unlike others, Galerie Philia does not focus on a single style – whether minimalist, organic or raw – but rather embraces heterogeneity. The Galerie Philia takes pride in discovering new talents, providing them with multiple international platforms to showcase their latest creations. As well as propelling the newest generation of 21st century collectible design, Galerie Philia also works with internationally known design artists. Galerie Philia has a strong international presence, with galleries in Geneva, New York and Singapore. In addition to their permanent spaces, the gallery organizes temporary group exhibitions and artists residencies in first-class locations around the world.

- Rococò Antique Cabinet in Walnut Wood with GlassLocated in Milano, ITVery rare antique closet dating from the Rococo period of the 1700s, made of walnut wood with brass details, very elegant, fine Italian manufacture. The antique closet is totally made of the finest walnut wood. The base is supported by 4 square feet, placed diagonally, which create a very fine angle. Their workmanship is reminiscent of that of capitals, given the curly detail present on each of them. The wooden base supports the central body of the cabinet composed of a clear glass display case, set into the wood. On the frame is a brass lock. Inside the display case we find a storage space also complete with two drawers below. A brass bar in patina is present. The centerpiece of the closet is its top: it is finely crafted through shapely and sinuous decorations. There are 4 ornamental capitals, one for each corner of the cabinet, also placed diagonally. The top is decorated with a finely worked and curved frieze, also made of walnut wood. On the two front capitals are two decorative wooden structures, reminiscent of those on an ancient cup...Category
