From our hand-painted Furniture Collection, we are pleased to introduce you to our Serenissima chest with Harlequin inspired decors.
Harlequin, the most discriminating character from the Italian commedia dell'arte, is the main inspiration behind this brand new decoration which has already become one of our strong point. Of course, the color palette can be entirely customized in order to match all surroundings and personal taste.
Each piece from our Collections is entirely hand-painted on every side of the Furniture by using the very best 18th Century Craftsmanship Venetian Techniques, passed down through the generations of artists from our land. We are passionate about decorating also the inside of every drawers, in this case with our "criss-cross" decors, so that even the simple act of opening your chests becomes a moment of graceful beauty.

All by hand. At Porte Italia, there is no factory. And no two pieces are exactly alike. Because every piece is still built, painted and gracefully aged to look as if it was born in 18th Century Venice.
Each Porte Italia creation is a bespoke masterpiece made to the exact custom specifications of designers from London, Paris, Milan, the US, the Middle East & India. And often in concert with other Venetian families whose companies have been in business since Marco Polo was a boy. We aim to re-discover the beauty of Venetian Craftsmanship and the flavour of long past traditions, making them available today for our daily use. Our missions is simply to make Art in the form of Furniture.
