18th Century Painted Swedish Commode

About the Item

This two part, four drawer Gustavian commode with double edge molding, a dental and strie band detail around the top is both simple and refined. There are Corinthian columns on front corners with bronze mounts at top and base of columns. The drawers have a raised panel. The pulls, key, and lock cover plate are original. There is minor repair on the bracket feet. The paint is original.
