A Georgian oak chest with brushing slide, circa 1740, with three long drawers and a brushing slide above the drawer bank. The chest has a straightforward country form with shell detail at the foot, a bleached finish and patinated brasses. 43 inches wide by 21 ½ inches deep by 36 ¾ inches tall
