Italian 18th Century Louis XIV Period Walnut Inlaid Bombée Commode

About the Item

A very impressive Italian 18th century Louis XIV period walnut inlaid bombée commode. The commode is raised on curved legs with elaborately scrolled frieze with bone inlay. Above are three wide drawers with finely chased patinated bronze keyhole escutcheons and fine bone inlay, flanked by protruding curved sides. At the top is a lovely veneered inlaid bone design. All original rich patina throughout.
