Italian Neoclassical 1800s Three-Drawer Commode with Gilt and Carved Motifs

About the Item

An Italian Neoclassical period painted three-drawer commode from the early 19th century, with marble top, gilt and carved motifs. Created in Italy during the early years of the 19th century, this Neoclassical commode features a rectangular white marble top with rounded corners, sitting above an elegant façade. An upper drawer, adorned with scrollwork and fluted motifs, is followed by two additional ones decorated with a beaded diamond. Painted in a soft color accented with gilt details, the commode is raised on four cylindrical legs. With its clean lines and complimenting colors, this Italian 1800s commode will bring a Classical touch to any living room or bedroom.
