Presenting a spectacular signed Lexcellent Louis XVI–style commode, richly adorned with intricate marquetry inlay, doré ormolu bronze mounts, and a beautifully contoured white marble top. This exceptional piece showcases the luxury, precision, and artistic refinement that define the work of the Lexcellent company—one of the most respected makers of high-quality French reproduction furniture in the 20th century. The central door features an exquisite floral urn inlay crafted from multiple exotic veneers, framed by crisp gilt rosettes and beaded bronze trim. Flanking the door are deep drawers decorated with ribbon-tied bronze pulls, classical star medallions, and meticulously cast ormolu accents. The commode stands firmly on elegant tapered legs ending in dramatic bronze paw feet with acanthus embellishments, giving the entire piece a commanding neoclassical presence.
Lexcellente was a distinguished French furniture manufacturer known for producing masterful recreations of 18th-century Louis XV and Louis XVI masterpieces.
