We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning large 19th century Swedish Biedermeier walnut chest of drawers with sliding drop front Secretaire desk A very good looking and functional piece of collectable furniture. These drawers are around 40% larger than standard pieces, they really command attention and look fantastic in any setting In terms of being a useful piece of furniture this is multi-functional, given that most people use laptops now this can be a complete work station and chest of drawers at the same time In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, its in good used period condition throughout, there are a couple of small pieces of timber missing on the drawer fronts, there original key is present, the locks are a bit fiddly but they work Dimensions: Height 105cm Width 132cm Depth 65.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
