A splendid two-drawer chest called "Commode Sauteuse" made of carved oak in the Louis XV Provençal style. The chest has an unusual depth of 23" and features two large drawers with shell and floral carvings with shaped brass handles. The sides are paneled and the piece rests on curved cabriole legs finished with doe's feet.
