We are delighted to offer this extremely well made Regency style chest on stand by Theodore Alexander with slip brown leather serving tray and bronzed gallery rail Where to begin! This piece is a tour de force of style and design! The timber is mixed burr & burl walnut with mahogany, you have a butlers slip serving tray which has a brown leather top that has been ornately embossed, this is for your butler to serve drinks and snacks on. The side of the piece has very ornate oversized military campaign handles, the base shelf a bronzed and pierced gallery rail, this really is a very decorative piece indeed Function wise, this is designed as a display piece, you could have it against a wall with a flower or sculpture on the base shelf, or standing next to you favourite armchair to use as a side table Condition wise, it is mostly perfect, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, I can’t really see any negative points to note other than a bit of normal age and use related patina Dimensions Height:- 110cm Width:- 55cm Depth:- 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
