Exceptional George III Chinoiserie Two-Part Corner Cupboard
About the Item
An exceptional George III polychrome two-part corner cupboard with chinoiserie decoration including men on horseback, other walking figures, flowers and birds, primarily in olive green, red, and gilt colors, with a geometric carved cornice, an upper case with two arched doors which open to reveal three shaped shelves and a bright red interior with gilt chinoiserie decoration on the door interiors, and a lower case also with two doors opening to a single interior shelf and red interior. The cupboard is in very good condition, with some paint restorations and imperfections.
