England, Circa 1890s
A good example of late 19th century English Chinoiserie lacquer work in a medium olive tone. Fitted with twin locking rounded doors decorated with fine gilt and polychromed chinoiserie figures in landscape.
The well working, doors Measure 29.5-inches high x 9.5-inches wide, fitted with lock and key. When opened there is a triangular shelved interior, that measures 15-inches wide x 18-inches deep. The top shelf is 18-inches high, the lower shelf is 12-inches high
