— Inspired by Xochiquetzal, the aztec godess associated with fertility, beauty, and love, serving as a protector of young mothers and a patroness of pregnancy and childbirth—
Solid wooden crendeza inspired by the shape of a lying jaguar, representation of the Xochiquetzal's throne at the Codex Borbonicus.
The body rests on 4 legs finished with carved wooden spheres representing the four cardinal points. 64 hemispheres are symmetrically distributed on thesurface of the credenza 's soft-closedoors.
Andrés Gutiérrez founded A-G Studio, a residential and commercial interior design firm in 2012, from where he has participated in the integral design of projects such as hotels, bars, restaurants and other commercial spaces, always with a deep interest in the exchange of information and feelings between the user and space.
