Late 18th Century Georgian Oak Livery Cabinet, circa 1780, Very Stable / Useable

About the Item

Late 18th century Georgian oak livery cabinet, circa 1780, George III period. Livery is composed of two pieces. A cabinet above and bin plus drawers below. Inside of the top cabinet the bottom shelf removes and there is a hidden bin below (between the bottom of the top cabinet and above the drawers on the lower cabinet). Mortice and tenon joinery throughout and full panel and frame construction on the back. Retains the original feet. A light polish and wax over an old finish. Very stabile / useable.

    Wear consistent with age and use. There are some old repairs as expected on a piece of this age. Professionally done and well hidden. Renewed glue blocks on the underside of the lower cabinet.
