About

This cupboard, from an area northwest of Stockholm, was made by a master craftsman and artist. The combination of faux grain painting in blue and coral on the doors is fantastic and all original. This special piece has all the best elements of the Rococo period. A decorative cornice is supported by elegant half columns at the sides, whose stately curves are echoed in the central shelf and base. The hardware is original and in full working order.
