19th Century Carved Oak Pedestal Desk

About the Item

19th century English pedestal desk made from oak. The top is covered in the original brown leather, which has aged beautifully, and is banded by an oak border, which has a gorgeous beveled and carved lunette edge. The desk is in a wonderfully colored oak and has paneled sides. The top has three drawers, all with hand carved decorated drawer fronts and handles, and is supported on two pedestals, each with three drawers with wonderfully carved drawer fronts, and they are supported on bracket feet.
