We are delighted to offer this very rare and highly collectable, double sided, original Military Campaign partner desk in Burr Elm with hand dyed leather top Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, I have never come across another like this, original period campaign desks are rarely seen on the open market, this one is in a rare timber, burr elm, with a restored, hand dyed leather top, I have never seen this 15 drawer arrangement before, most likely they are smaller map drawers, the back has two bookcase cupboards, again I’ve never seen them on a desk of this size. The drawer joints are exquisite and just about as Victorian as they come. All three top drawers are lockable and the keys are included for each drawer We have cleaned waxed and polished the frame from top to bottom, the leather desk top was washed back and hand dyed by my French polisher This piece will naturally plenty of patina marks all over from genuine age and honest use, one of the side campaign handles is missing Dimensions Height:- 77cm Width:- 122cm Depth:- 76cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses RH20 1DF. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
