About the Item
A sleek form Danish modern teak drop front desk designed by noted Danish furniture designer Arne Wahle Iversen (1927-1986) for Vinde Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. Two interior drawers and cubbied working space, a drop front slide support over two long drawers over a front and back stretcher,supported by four rectangular legs. Branded on top long drawer interior “Danish Furnituremakers’ Control” and stamped on back “Made in Denmark 68,” with the Vinde Møbelfabrik stamp. Very good condition, with some minor residue in the lower long drawer, minor surface scratches, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Includes key. Dimensions: 42.5 in H x 37.25 in W x 17 in D, closed (31 in D, open).
