A handsome and richly detailed French 19th century Louis XIV st. Ebony, Brass and Ormolu Boulle desk. This wonderful rectangular desk is raised by four square tapered legs decorated by a mottled Ormolu band and bottom topie shaped feet. The legs are connected by a pierced double triangle stretcher with a central circle motif. The stretcher is elegantly decorated by Ormolu bands along the edges.
