Deco Bauhaus chrome 3 drawer desk by Wolfgang Hoffmann Desk for Howell. Bent chrome tube structure with 3 drawers. Good vintage condition for its age shows wear and use to chrome and wood. Beautiful Bauhaus design Art deco. Labeled under desk. Made circa 1930s. Located in Brooklyn NYC. Dimensions H 31" x W 44” x D 25" Designed by Wolfgang Hoffmann for Howell. Son of renowned designer and architect, Josef Hoffmann, Wolfgang was an important contributor to modernism in America. With its tubular steel frame, this desk has that classic modernist sensibility that is still relevant today.
