French Bureau Plat
About the Item
French bureau plat, the drawers cross banded with boxwood string inlay surrounding four book matched quarter panels. Very heavy cast brass handles and corner and knee hole ornaments are on the front and back. There is heavy brass edging all around the top edges. The top has three gold tooled leather panels cross banded with boxwood string inlay and sandalwood. The primary wood is mahogany. It has been fully restored to immaculate condition.
