Gordon Russell Bureau Desk, 1938, Stunning Original and Unique Piece

About the Item

Gordon Russell, c. 1938 Bureau (desk, secretaire) Walnut with brass and chrome fittings. Original metal label to rear. This is a rare item and a superb example of the best of British Modernism. It was supplied by Godon Russell as a bespoke order for a house in Surrey (UK) for which the company did the complete interior design. The desk is in good condition and is completely original and unrestored. We believe this is important, and hence we have done no restoration or refinishing work. Dimensions approx.: 76 x 40 x 120 cm / 42.5 kg.
