Minimalist Brazilian Rosewood and Chrome Desk in the style of Milo Baughman

About the Item

Incredibly stunning Danish minimalist desk, with a style calling to mid-century modern icon Milo Baughman, c.1970s. Rich Brazilian rosewood grain, supported by a sturdy chrome base. The desk features three drawers for storage, with a cut detail below the drawers for easy access. The desk is fully finished - back included - providing an elegant 360 degree viewing, making it perfect for an open space. Desks with unfinished backs require you to have them placed up against a wall - not this one! The desk is a perfect size at 52" wide, being not so large as to take up your entire office space. The design is clean, utilitarian, and handsome, with the rosewood grain being the star of the show and providing a pop of warmth and color. An exemplary example of masterful design meeting world class materials. Versatile, sleek, and practical.

  • Sculptural Neon Torchiere Floor Lamp by Let There Be Neon for George Kovacs
By Rudi Stern and Don Chelsea
    Located in Chicago, IL
A true statement. Sculptural, monolithic torchiere with a magenta neon element designed by Dan Chelsea of Let There Be Neon, founded by Rudi Stern, in collaboration with George Kovacs. A total must have for any fan of the eclectic and post-modern, the lamp warrants a comment from anyone who walks into it's space. It features two separate knobs - one controlling the neon mechanism, and the other acting as a dimmer switch for the torchiere. The torchiere takes a standard bulb. A total stand out piece, and one that acts as much of a piece of art as it does a lamp. Perfect for home or business. This lamp would make a real impact in a high end retail setting. The same lamp was recently featured in A24 production 'Uncut Gems...
