Empire dresser or secretary, Paris, 1810s. Made of mahogany. Feet with fine brass applications. Eight drawers with fine, circumferential brass strips, two handles each, key inlays also in brass, original marble top. Lateral pilaster strips each with three delicate thread inlays in brass, lateral thread inlays also circumferential. The writing compartment is located in the upper half. The writing surface is covered with leather. Two drawers and open compartments inside. The Empire dresser will be completely restored while retaining its patina. The costs of the restoration are included in the purchase price.
