Beautiful Mid-Century Modern double dresser designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for Drexel’s Declaration Collection, circa 1960’s. Featuring a solid, beautifully grained walnut wood case and frame, housing six drawers each is adorned with original white porcelain ball knobs on a brass fitting, creating a striking contrast to the walnut wood. The deep, long drawers offer ample room; Maker Stamp (by Drexel) on the inside of the top drawer. Each drawer has beautiful, stunning walnut grains, and easy gliding dovetail drawers, with exceptional craftsmanship. A recessed base of round tapered legs and apron provide stable support while conveying an airy “floating” effect. Additional Maker Stamp (Declaration by Drexel} on the back. Clean lines and timeless style, this showstopper will be an enhancing addition to any interior and blend beautifully with many décor styles. Ideal piece for a bedroom, living room, or entry.     Repaired. Wear consistent with age and use. Good original condition, drawers are dovetailed and glide nicely, solid and sturdy construction, minimal wear. The wood grain is naturally highlighted in a walnut pattern throughout, with a rich walnut tone.
