Restored Edward Wormley Dunbar White Enamel Walnut Leather Cabinet Dresser 1950s

About the Item

A stunning large double dresser in restored white enamel case, with warmly contrasting figured and book-matched walnut drawer fronts, having brown leather wrapped handles. This well-known and fully documented dresser is nevertheless rarely seen in such great condition. The smaller four drawer version is the more common version, compared to this large super stylish and highly practical cabinet. Edward Wormley is a celebrated leader for Dunbar Furniture. He designed and produced hundreds of successful designs, featuring traditionally inspired lines, merged with the modern-day materials and construction techniques. This produced heirloom quality timeless pieces that are in great demand today. This dresser will grace any modern or eclectic decor. Condition: The cabinet has restored with a high quality white enamel that is waxed and burnished to enhance warmth and durability. The walnut drawer front retain their original finish and warm patina. The original leather on the handles shows minor dents. All drawers work well and have clean interiors.
