About the Item

A Rare Fine Howard and Sons ‘Berners St’, Flame Mahogany linen press in stunning condition. Stamped to top drawer & label to cupboard with remnants of the paper labels inside the drawers. Consisting of two over four graduated drawers beneath an open singular shelved upper linen cupboard, the whole with a beautiful coloured & figured grain throughout. This piece has been in the same family since the early 1900's, and these rarely come up for sale in such condition. Circa 19th c.
